too much beer makes my tummy cranky
After drinking what turns out to be too much last night, I have spent all of my Sunday so far either sleeping or trying to feel better from drinking. Yesterday was alright. But I'm frustrated by a number of little things and trying to feel okay regardless.
This week Travis and I have to pick his sister up from the airport in Pittsburgh. How sucky is it though that my friend who lives in Pittsburgh is not there for the rest of the summer, so I can't even visit her! Blah!
oOoooH! I just had an idea! (see what happens when I start writing/thinking!) I should plan something remotely fun for Travis and I to do when we go into Pittsburgh (his sister isn't arriving till like 11pm on Tuesday night). Ooooh that will be fun.
I am having some reservations about Travis and I, but I think they are largely a product of my own mind being fucked up and not related much to reality.
Also I have no idea how to pack all my stuff. I've never done it before and I have no clue what I'm doing. Part of me is tempted to just throw away a lot of shit, partly because it would simplify things. And also partly as a sign that I am finally moving on and away from this old life I've held fast to for so long, and changing and going on to something new.
And also, how many Star Wars collectibles and Farscape VHS tapes does one gal really need? (But if you're in the market for anything like that, give me a call, I'm selling ;-) )
And do I really need my high school physics binder and all the retarded essays I wrote 10 years ago?
Being a packrat is no fun, because I can pretty much have some justification to myself for keeping a lot of shit I really don't need. Also I don't like to throw away perfectly good stuff (this all comes from my parents. my dad keeps working 1987 computer monitors and other totally stupid stuff because, well...because it still works!)
So Yeah I have just about four solid seasons of Farscape taped on VHS. That is a result of a lot of time and effort (not too much money though), and I have no reason to keep them, but also, I dont want to throw them away.....They're still good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I'm off to try to throw something away. It might take me the rest of the day to do that however!
