post birthday action
Birthday rundown:
Miranda sent me a card. She's so dependable with that kind of a thing. Why do I suck so much?
Jessica sent me an ecard, weird but had a very sweet message.
Emily sent me a card. I thought she was going to forget about my birthday; she's not usually too good on birthdays. Not that that's a bad thing, just one of her quirks.
My parents gave me 100 to contribute to the car insurance. Thats also where my first paycheck (for two days) went. They also got me a card. And paid for part of the movie trip we went to last night.
Ellie has got me a lot. She got me flowers, a coffee/cheese danish cake yesterday with candles. Today (since my dad was home from work today) she got lots of food for the five of us and got me an ice cream cake. Shes really done the most for me for my birthday.
That's about it for the birthday celebrations.
What fun.
At least it was better than last years. I just was reading over my older entries, and this one was definitely better than last years birthday. At least Travis was here with me this time.
I need to start doing something purposeful.
I think what I am going to try to do is take photos.
And there's so much nature around here, we have lots of oportunities to go on little walks in the woods (parks) and stuff, so I want to do that, and take more pictures.
We'll see how that goes.
I'm already enjoying all the nature here, in comparison to crazy LA.
Today I had a nice long chat with Jess online. So glad we're talking more now, and that I'm closeby so we can help each other out. I need to go visit her soon.
I need to visit everyone soon, because I am finally around all my friends. Well sort of anyway!
