bet you weren't expecting this!
Well Hullo there; its good to be back.
As some of you may or may not know, Travis and I finally have our own place (have had for a while now, well over a month) and its working otu well. It is expensive and sort of small, but it is 10000000% better than living where we were. What I have discovered in living on my own/with Travis: cleaning up is for losers! And if you work it just right you only need to do laundry like once a month!
Also in much more recent news: my parents bought me a brand * new * laptop * for Christmas. It came with some Free AOL. so thats what I'm on now. Let's hope Aol doesnt sneakily charge me somehow.
So there you go, after no build up or warning--I'm back online! Or at least back on important things like AIm and live journal. Where as I can check my email at work, its nto the most reccommended thing for me to be doing there.
I surely could recount the last few months of my life on here, or at least sum up which would be advisable, but I don't feel like it right now.I'm too hungry and all i can see in the fridge is tomatoes, jelly and mayo. Not the best combination.
I'm too hungry to focus and type something interesting, plus my hands are all messed up from all the typing i do at my damn job. Yes, nothing is new there, i do not like my job. HOWEVER - I like it a hell of a lot better than the last job i had. Its not a horrible job... its just boring and stupid. But I can handle it. Mostly by reading articles about Harry Potter, or searching for Christmas gifts all day.
And, unfortunately unless you are my family member you will not be getting a christmas present from me until after chrismtas. Our bank is already broke shopping for his and my family! Damn you excessive rent, damn you!
And In closing, I have this to say: I went to the Farscape convention and you didn't!

Yays!
You'll have to explain this laundery once a week thing. It seems like I'm always running to my parents house or the laundary mat with a basket full. Uhg! Since the Christmas season hit with full swing, I've been like you, though. I keep looking at my apartment with exhaustion and disgust. I haven't cleaned in what seems like ages (a week) and there are empty boxes, wrapping paper, cooking pans, and everything else holiday-esk imaginable thrown about the place. We're getting a storm this evening and I'm hoping it's a big one just so I can stay home from work and clean tomorrow!
Re: Yays!
As for the laundry thing, one key idea is just to buy more clothes--that way you'll only absolutley have to wash when you've worn everything you own, which takes longer the more you own. And as for cleaning I look around and our apartment, and I think...eh I could clean, but what purpose would that serve? What is the point, seriously? And that pretty much cures me of it. Although I am going to try to give the place a good overhaul for Christmas but I expect that'll do us for a while.
It sounds like you're really stressed out these days; I hope you can find time to relax over the holidays. Remember, you dont have to do everything yourself. I hope youre doing well for the most part. I'm enjoying the holiday season at least.
Thanks for the Christmas card!
