A is for - Are you really wearing that?

I'm still pondering making a post all about Pretty Little Liars in general and all my feelings about it, but this is not that post.

This is about the season 4 premiere of Pretty Little Liars. Spoilers within.

-The pig in the trunk was...silly, which is what I expect from this show really. Not terribly disappointed that Wilden is dead though because he was a huge gross creep. Although of course whenever someone is killed off is when they actually reveal any information from/about that person. So he had something to do with the stuff on the ghost train? But it may have been poisoning Aria, killing Wilden, trying to kill Aria, attacking Spencer, or who knows what else. And it may have been Melissa helping him but well, of course the video cut out then. Of course it did.

-I was practically cheering when Ezra got arrested, it was the most exciting scene of the episode....until.....they showed it was just Aria's imagination. Damn you Aria! That was my dream come true! (Seriously if someone knows where there is a gif of that scene I would be very grateful!) Every other scene with Ezra in it was just annoying and pointless as usual.
Also show I know you are aimed at young people and are the most tweeted about show ever or something, but your silly hashtags mid episode are ridiculous. Especially when they are trying to make the audience sympathize with characters who are crap and don't really deserve pity (#poorezra? seriously?)

-I didn't realize how much stuff was revealed in this episode till I read the recap. Although of course it's hard to say what is actually true though because it was Mona revealing the stuff. Though she did at least share Cece, Melissa and Wilden were much more involved in shit than we knew for sure.

-Andrea Parker!! Thank god they didn't recast Alison's mom. Why am I excited that it's still the same woman? Oh only because she was possibly my first tv character love when she was in The Pretender in the 90s and she is amazing and gorgeous and wonderful. (Yes I was in high school when The Pretender was on. Yes I am old.) So excited she's on a show I love again!
It seems like they might make Mrs D somewhat crazy and evil a la Alison. Which makes sense and I am totally ok with. Anything that gets more Andrea Parker on the show!

-How much shit did Alison have when she was "alive" that her mom can be moving MORE stuff back into the house now? Like she had stuff that was on the curb in the pilot, more stuff that Maya found, stuff that Jason had, and some other secret stuff that Mona had. But yet there's still more stuff!!

-I keep forgetting how ridiculous those mini Liars+Mona were. I thought they were gonna be used in a flashback when I saw the picture of them before the season. But nope, some "Alison" person was just molding little girls into versions of her other 'dolls'.

-Hanna's wig, why so distracting and terrible? Why did anyone think a random awkward black headband was going to help hide it?

-Toby sort of creepy (and not in an interesting way) and useless and not actually explaining a damn thing. I don't get why Spencer trusts him at all, when he hasn't done anything to prove he's actually not evil.
If they made his whole motivation about his dead mom more that would at least make sense (okay, only in that it would be an explanation of any sort). More than what was essentially, I did it to protect you but here are absolutely no ways in how I went about doing that when your friends were all attempted murdered and terrorized. Oh and I'm crying now, so lets have sex Spencer.

-Also Jenna you raped Toby so I don't know how she can really claim she you didn't want to hurt him. And I hope they don't kill off Jenna, even though she's sort of a terribe person. She's an interesting character. (But since the actress who plays her is pregnant I'm guessing she will at least be gone for a large chunk of time eventually. Which is the usual with Jenna really, I guess.)
