WOW, these are so gorgeous. I'm snurching at least 6, it's so vivid and love the crop. Just perfection.

Also 18 appeals to me a lot... It's such a lovely scorpy icon, he looks like a king on his throne. <3 Great colors and crop. Other favorites: 19, 22, 33, 36, 37, 42, 43, 48, 50. So much pretty! Your coloring is especially beautiful!

Thank you for the great comment! I don't really know how to do the fancy stuff you do with your icons usually, so the coloring is about the only thing I can do without them looking terrible!

Lol, the 'fancy stuff I usually do' goes pretty much as follows: slap a hundred textures on the icon, find good blend modes, then color some. :D But I think when an icon is colored gorgeously it doesn't really need much else and I'm sure some would say I should keep my icons more simple.

I hope you don't mind if I friend you - wouldn't want to miss your icon posts if I forget to check farscapeicons regularly!

These are really great. I love the negative space in 17, it really highlights the focus of the icon. 25 is just a lovely composition. 34 is a great crop, and there's a nice subtle contrast in the coloring that works well to bring it to life. 41 and 42 are also great, hitting the big three for me - crop, negative space, contrast/coloring. That line of red in 42 is stunning - I know it was in the cap, but it's at just the right angle in the icon to really draw the eye.

Thanks for the great feedback. (And I'm glad I didn't icon anything too spoilery for you!). Glad 34 worked for you because that was one of the ones I really wasn't sure about. Also with 42 I almost put something in the negative space because I thought it needed it, but now I'm glad I didn't cos it works well like it is I think.
