holmes on tv
Since I'm slowly running out of BBC Sherlock to read, I have taken to reading a lot of Sherlock Holmes canon era/style/verse fanfic, of the Holmes/Watson variety of course. In the spirit of that I decided to watch an episode of the Granada Sherlock Holmes. And a familiar actress just popped up in the episode I'm watching.....
You may not recognize her unless you've seen the show.....Miranda. Where she plays Miranda's mom. Her name is Patricia Hodge.
She looks a lot younger (obviously.) and sounds different, but I can't help but for some sort of giggle or amusing remark to spring forth from her.
Also, lulz....Watson just said she was hot (well in more proper victorian terms) and Holmes reminded him that he doesn't like women like that. I'M JUST SAYING.
ETA. I am trying really hard not to do a sort of live blog of this episode with bonus print screens. Suffice to say, I'm very entertained
