If I die or get sick from this, I want immediate and strong action to be taken. No hesitation.
This morning I had a root canal. Or at least part of one; I have to go back later this month for more.
I read online all this horrible stuff about root canals, and how they're extremely awful and dangerous for you, and they cause or magnify diseases and illnesses. I read people's stories about hwo they had root canals and got really sick, and when they got it out, they felt better unexplainably. So i read tons of horror stories about them causing cancer and even death.
So reasonably, I was rather worried and hesitant.
The doctor dismissed my questions, saying that it was perfectly safe and it was sad that people put that kind of stuff on the internet.
If I ever get really really sick at all, I'll know it's because of the root canal. Because I have never once in my entire life been majorly sick or ill at all. A bad cold has been the extent of my illness in 21 years. Maybe bronchitis once when I was small. But say, if I happen to get some kind of kidney failure or cancer next week, then I think we'll all know what the cause would be.
I'm just trying to keep my mind off the negative and be positive and live life as best I can.
After that I practiced piano, which was nice, but frustrating because its been almost 8 years since I've had to learn an instrument from the beginning. And my patience is minimal at times.
In a bit I'm off to dinner, then fencing. Although I am not necessarily really looking forward to that because I havent practiced it at all.
I also finally got the rest of the pictures back from Georgia. Some of them turned out pretty well I think.
Ok, I am off to dinner soon.
I missed my only class today because of the dentist appointment.
The numbness is startign to wear off, and pain is returning.

I'm sure that you'll be ok with your root canal. You never know all the circumstances surrounding those stories you read on the internet - or even if they are true. I've known many people (including family members) who have had root canals and all have been ok. I'm sure that any responsible dentist would have told you if there was anything so severe that you had to worry about.

Thanks for that. It helps to hear about people who have done perfectly well with them, after reading about so many terrible horror stories about them already. I need to have that balance in my mind so I don't worry myself sick over it. I appreciate it. And thanks for everything else. And even for telling me all your drama and everything. It's really good to know that someone still wants to share something with me.
