First off, Olivia in a beanie. Then Olivia in her gorgeous ponytail. Then we get more beanie action. Then dress and curled hair action. Guh, I'd watch the Olivia Dunham shoots people while she has awesome hair show anyday. Every day actually.

Also, Sam Weiss. I was pretty much yelling that at the tv the whole episode. And then he was there. And I literally cheered. But then he just said stupid stuff. I am sort of getting down with Peter/Alitliva ship, because seriously they seem better matched, he doesn't seem to like Olivia as she is that much. And yeah, I kinda think Olivia is sort of too awesome for Peter at this point? And maybe I like her a little better broken, alone and badass too.
The show has now basically forced viewers to care about the ships though which is sorta funny. Even if you're not much of a shipper, now it really does matter who Peter chooses. Or at least according to Sam Weiss. I was really hoping for a litlte bit more or better informaiton from him. Nina better not let him off with just that info. I fhe wrote the fraking books, then he obviously konws WAY more than just shit about Peter's love life or whatever. (I know it's not just that, but I wanted more info from him!)

Also I am pretty sure this episode passed the Bechdel test, so win!

Yeah, I really agree with you. They are pushing the ships too much and it's sorta getting annoying.
I like the other aspects of the story a lot more I think. Glad they mentioned cortexiphan though at least. Maybe Olivia will get to use her super powers again soon :D

First of all, OMG Cortexiphan storyline, yes! They can keep their alternate universe doomsday machines. The experiments on Olivia and their consequences for her (and to some extent, Walter) are my preferred subject. So naturally I loved that angle. Oh, Olivia. :(

I saw Kevin Corrigan's name in the credits and yelled, "SAM!". In the middle of a crowded room. Yes. I am that much of a nerd. As cryptic as ever. It's always fun to see this character.

I'm with you. I could about care about the ships, but if pressed to pick one, I'd pick Peter/Fauxlivia. They seem better matched. And our Olivia is way too good for Peter. I've said that from the beginning, and Peter's recent behavior is only enforcing the idea in my mind.

How damn awesome is Anna Torv? I bled for Olivia. Her scenes with her fellow Cortexiphan kid made me ache for them both. I honestly believe Olivia would be happier if she could fully embrace her purpose in life, but it's perhaps the tragedy of her character that she can't or doesn't want to do that.

Nina Sharp, how I love you. "We both know, what Nina Sharp wants, Nina Sharp gets." And she's just there at her desk smiling, like "Yep. I'm awesome."

I am really interested in the Cortexiphan storyline stuff too. Since they actually brought it up again, I have hope that it won't ever go away altogether. There's so much to explore there.

Yeah I'm surprised how much I find myself preferring Peter/Fauxlivia at this point. And Anna Torv sold everything in this episode, as she always does. She is genius.

Olivia's Hair of Awesome will save both universes. 'Nuff said.

I agree with the others I love Peter/Olivia but not when it's in the face. I just can't see Nina having to tell Walter and co. about the importance of the ship, it's like bad fic. I don't want Peter going dark side either, hopefully it's more complicated then that.

On another note I love that we are seeing more Nina, cause she is all kinds of win.

Heh, it is sort of like bad fic the more I think about it. It's just a silly scenario that seems completely nonsensical. I really hope things do get more complicated and interesting too.

And more of Nina is definitely a good thing!

Heh. Yeah. I like how Nina now has a vested interest in being a fervent Olivia/Peter shipper. I foresee many, many instances of them being stuck in Massive Dynamic's elevators and stuff. ;)

This, exactly. Altlivia is awesome in a kind of way that Peter can handle. Or rather, Altlivia could handle Peter without getting frustrated and bored.

I agree with you completely. I think Altlivia and Peter are much better suited (which I never thought I would think).
Olivia has better things to do anyway at this point.
