Day 30 - Saddest character death

I have a couple for this one, all behind the cut because of course, spoilers. Spoilers for full series: Buffy, Firefly/Serenity, Torchwood, Farscape, Babylon 5. Don't read unless you've finished the whole series or just don't care!



Tara, BtVS. This one really wrecked me. I loved Tara so much, and it's sort of hard not to, because she's pretty much an all around nice person. And she died in such a cruel way, that had no meaning whatsoever. Pretty much every time I see that episode I cry.

Wash, Serenity/Firefly. Another sudden, pointless death. (Of course it comes from Whedon too). I was devastated when I saw this too, and pretty much every time Zoe is on screen afterward I am a big ball of tears.

Tosh & Ianto, Torchwood. They died two separate times but they were pretty meaningless as well. By the time Ianto got killed off, it was pretty ridiculous as there were only two people left on the TW team. I'm not particularly looking forwad to the new TW that supposedly coming out, but I'm sure I'll watch it regardless.

Zhaan & D'argo, Farscape. Zhaan's death was at least not meaningless, but at the time she was my absolute favorite character so her death totally crushed me. And as for D'argo's death, well that's one I'm still in the denial stage of and one main reason I am in no hurry to watch Peacekeeper Wars again anytime soon.

Sheridan, Babylon 5. His death was predicted long in advance and he knew when he was going to die. It's still very emotional for me, but maybe it's just that whole entire episode that's so emotional.

For me it was Laura Roslin, still can't get over her.

I can definitely understand that one. Her death is about the only thing I cried at in the BSG finale.
