Does anyone else watch Dexter? I've watched it regularly and I generally like it. But practically every episode stresses me out in some way or another. I always need to take a little break after watching each episode. But that's partly just because I'm a sort of tense person sometimes and I get easily overwhelmed by stuff. (Also, I jump at pretty much any sudden noise/movement.) Anyway, I think the second half of the current season is shaping up to be really good. I am just worried about what's going to happen to Lumen's character at the end of the series. I kinda love Julia Stiles. And I definitely love Jennifer Carpenter. She's half the reason I watch the show, especially when some of the episodes drag on.

Also I was going to work on some graphics today, but I got distracted. By Harry Potter stuff. I keep hearing about Mark Reads Harry Potter, and today I've finally remembered to check it out when I had the time. And well....it looks like that might eat up my whole night.

Yeahhhhhh I love Dexter! I haven't seen Sunday's episode yet though. Been too busy. But I thought I was going to hate Lumen's character/storyline and I ended up loving it. And of course, I too love Deb. :D

I get what you mean about the episodes being stressful though! There's always at least one super-tense OH GOD WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN sequence in every episode. Usually revolving around Dexter allllllmost being caught.

Mark Reads Harry Potter? Gonna have to check that out. I watched a lot of the vids of that one guy reading Twilight which cracked me up endlessly.

Yeah I was afraid to say anything about the most recent episode, because I know it always takes me a day or two to finally get to see them.

Heh I always get stressed when it seems like Dexter's gonna get caught, I get so easily swept up in the tension the episodes build, even though I know he's not going to get caught yet.

Also should have shared the link, here is the archive of Mark reads Harry Potter. I'm not sure if it's the same person who did the Twilight reviews, because I really havent checked out anything Twilight related. But I suspect it is because he mentions twilight right away. I'm only a few chapters into his reviews and they all crack me up :)

I watch Dexter! I know what you mean about the stress, but sometimes the cliffhangers are too much for me and I can't wait to know what happens next. I'm in the love Lumen camp. I hope Dexter doesn't have to sell her out. :(

Yeah, its definitely stressful to wait and see what happens next. I was thinking of not watching until the last two of the season are out, because I'm worried about what's gonna happen to Lumen!
But I don't have the patience for that, so I'm sure I'll watch the new one as soon as I can :)

I watch Dexter! I'm still in S4 - I fell behind in my "acquiring" of episodes and ended up just waiting for the DVDs to come out. I like the show a lot, and it works best for me when I can just sit down and watch three or four in a row instead of waiting week by week.

I love Deb. Looooooove. She's my favorite.

I watched the first two seasons all in one go, really quickly. Talk about stressful!
I think it might be best to watch it that way though because I hate waiting to see what's going to happen.

Well, I had to take a break from S4, because I loved Frank Lundy, and I loved Deb/Lundy, and I'm just kind of too sad to keep watching. Which is...sad. But Trinity/Lithgow is amazing and creepy and fantastic and the season so far is a hell of a lot better than S3.

I agree with you completely - season 4 is much better than season 3. Prado was really annoying and eventually I couldn't even enjoy him on screen. Where as at least Trinity who was creepy and batshit scary, was awesome to watch too.

Also I only have one Dexter related icon (so I'm totes using it again), but I quite like yours.

I liked the concept of Prado, and I thought Jimmy Smits did a fantastic job, it just...felt like every episode was basically the same. Plus, Rita got way shrill and annoying last season and I just couldn't hardly stand her anymore - which made me sad, because I like Julie Benz and originally liked the character. (I'm also spoiled for what happens at the end of S4, and am totally okay with it, heh.)

And...back to my only other Dexter icon.

Yeah Jimmy Smitts was good at being crazy and stuff, but I didn't really like him as much as most of the other guest stars in other seasons. Dexter does have the tendency to get rather repetitive at times, I agree.

And I hate how they messed up Rita's character in that season. I was angry about the end of the season(that sucks that you are spoiled for it; I was quite shocked by it!) but less so because her character had been so downgraded. Blah.
