I've only watched the pilot and the second episode this go-around; the first time I tried to watch it, I think I finished the whole first disc, but I was in grad school and I wasn't immediately hooked strongly enough to take the time out to start a new show.

I really, really like Aeryn already, though, and I've heard much about her awesomeness, so that's kind of what's getting me to try again.

Oh Aeryn is completely made of awesome. If you like her already you definitely won't stop!

The first season, and especially a lot of the early episodes are a bit rough, but once you get through them you are in for some fantastic stuff, I promise!

Thanks! I haven't seen SGA (I think that's what you're referring to), but I do love John and D'argo a lot.

I couldn't even look at those caps from PKW because I try to forget about that last D'argo scene completely!

Yeah, McShep is SGA, which is a boyfriend/boyfriend or BFF thing, depending on you filter. With John and D'Argo, I always knew they were just buddies.

I get sad about John's BFF. It's like Donna Nobley all over again.
