ten favorite scifi ships

Picspam made for scifiland's 10 things I love.... challenge!

I had a hard time coming up with something for this. Eventually I decided to pick my favorite ships, mostly because I'm not really a big shipper and I figured it would be a challenge for me to come up with 10 couples I really like. And it most definitely was difficult. Some of these ships I like a lot more than others, and while some came easy to mind, I had to put some thought into actually picking ten. Also I've discovered I'm really generally only interested in canon ships. What that means or says about me, I don't know...maybe it just means I have no imagination!

And because there are people on my flist that are watching some of these shows there are varying spoilers for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Babylon 5, Farscape, Primeval, Firefly, Torchwood, Battlestar Galactica and Fringe.

I haven't seen any Stargate, but I think it would be just as hard for me to see them as anyone other than John and Aeryn! Maybe once you get into Farscape you'll feel the same ;)

Sheridan/Delenn ♥

I remember watching B5 for the first time and wondering if I was gonna like Sheridan or not when he came in to replace Sinclair. His reaction to Delenn helped a lot. Absolutely adorable.

Lots of good choices! I was excited to see Peter/Olivia; it seems like a lot of the fandom (or at least where I'm lurking) doesn't want them to get together, which gives me a sad.

Aw, thanks! I've actually seen a fair amount of people who like Peter and Olivia together and some who don't. I don't really understand why not though, they really work well together I think.

Yeah...I think I probably just need to stop reading TWOP. I'm pretty sure they intentionally hive mind to hate what I love, and love what I hate.

It's just refreshing to see a TV relationship in this day and age that wasn't set-up from minute one, that actually evolved naturally, and that actually has chemistry. That, like, never happens.

Ah yeah, TWOP can be good at times, and really bad at times too, so I know what you mean!

I agree with you completely. At first I didn't want them to get together but their relationship developed really nicely and they seemed to fit so well that it just seems so natural and positive for them to get together.
