you will lead them all to their end!
I finally joind the gym this week. However apart from someone showing me how to use some machines, I haven't actually worked out yet. That goal I hope to accomplish this weekend. (I don't have a car during the week after work or else I would have tried earlier.)
Tonight is the last episode of Battlestar Galactica. I am watching it with my mom only because Jackie's work screwed her over and scheduled her for tonight of all nights! I haven't really been obessing over, or even thinking about BSG that much over the past week or two. I did this at the end of Farscape too....I have been sort of staying out of things, not thinking about it much and not very emotional. I'm not 100% sure why I do, or have done, this. Part of it is on purpose because I know that this is the end, and I don't want to go over everything and get so overwhelmed that its all over suddenly. I haven't rewatched the last few episodes. I know I will watch this show many more times in the future and I think I am sort of trying to save something for my rewatches. With BSG and Farscape, the first two season I know inside and out (okay maybe not so much with Farscape anymore) and I don't want to be burnt out on the end of BSG. So I've sort of mentally taken a step back. Don't get me wrong though: I don't know what I'm going to do with my Fridays any more; BSG was the main thing that helped me make it through a week. It is going to really suck not having a new episode or season to look forward to. It's sad the story is over and my favorite characters are going to be gone. Hopefully tonight's episode is as awesome as I have heard it is. Although I have to admit I have my reservations on how awesome it can be after the lack of awesomeness of season 4. There are tons of things that need answered or dealt with and certainly some of them will not get addressed. Spoilers behind the cut!
Another random thing I hope that happens in the last episode: LEOBEN appears! This dude is part of the frakking alliance. He has tons of copies!!!! But he has not been seen since...well since the mutiny episodes. It seems strange that he has stopped obsessing over Starbuck, especially now that she is practically right next door. I doubt they will address his absence, but I hope that he at least appears in the last episode.
I have just as little hope for Simon and Doral, who have been ignored more than any other cylons. This annoys me, but there is nothing to do about it now. Just hope they have some sort of role in the end of the series.
